As master architect, Indigo collaborated with Houston’s Jackson & Ryan Architects, UC Davis Koret Shelter Medicine Program and design-builder Unger Construction Company with Dreyfuss + Blackford Architecture to create a LEED Silver facility aligned with the latest research in animal shelter medicine. Indigo and team worked closely with Placer County and its stakeholders over the course of a year, participating in public meetings and facilitating regular working group meetings to ensure the most efficient process and the best outcomes for animals and people.
