Shotcrete Dog Kennels
Indigo is the first architect to use shotcrete (pneumatically applied concrete) for kennel construction at our Animal Shelters, a HUGE innovation over CMU block! It allows for seamless transitions between floors and walls, zero joints and coved edges, making the cleaning and maintenance superior over other construction methods.
This construction method allows for more kennels at animal shelters to be built in a fraction of the time, as compared to masonry built (CMU Block) kennels. Once the rebar is laid and the forms are built, the concrete is literally, SHOT into the forms. This method lowers cost and construction time!

Our shotcrete kennel design method has zero joints and coved edges, making the cleaning and maintenance superior over other construction methods.
A close up of the bottom of a shotcrete wall with epoxy coating illustrates how our design has zero seams, creating a much more hygienic and extremely easy to clean dog kennel.
