WILLIAMS COMMUNITY CENTER CONCEPTUAL PLAN Williams, CA

Williams’ new community center will employ a combination of strawbale with pre-engineered building shells for a combination of cost and long-term energy savings. The building will feature natural light, natural ventilation and passive solar building orientation. The use of Strawbale combined with pre-engineered metal buildings takes advantage of the local renewable material of baled rice straw and makes reference to the utilitarian metal agricultural buildings common in the Central Valley.
