| Imazu Bay New Town. This design is for ecological redevelopment of Fukuoka's Imazu Bay tidal flats and the development of a new town. Re-vegetated irrigation canals with native trees and marsh would bring native trees and marsh would bring native birds and animals back to the city, including culturally important fireflies. These green spaces will provide a system of urban open and natural spaces within the urban grid as well as pleasant pedestrian and bike trials. | |||||||||||||||||
