PG&E Suncatcher House. This interpretive demonstration house employs passive solar strategies to maintain year-round thermal comfort. Southern orientation, window shading and thermal heat-sink water tanks provide zero energy heating and cooling. High ceilings make the most of uplifting natural light. The Suncatcher's systems have remained operational for over 30 years. |
