| Straw Bale Artist's Studio. This studio keeps the artist happy and thermally comfortable inside sculptural straw bale walls. Set in the Central Valley's Coast Range foothills, it makes use of local, renewable materials, a creek-fed radiant cooling system and only the occasional wood fire to augment passive solar heating.
