Questions local governments should ask themselves.:

  1. Is your general plan no longer in compliance with greenhouse gas emissions requirements of CEQA Amendments adopted in 2009?
  2. Is your local government facing lawsuits over greenhouse gas emissions?
  3. Do energy costs hurt your local government?

If the answer is "Yes" to any of the above, your local government should consider adopting a climate action plan. Consider the following questions:

  1. What concerns does your local government have with climate change?
  2. What programs has your local government implemented?
  3. What city departments and external organizations have been involved in implementation of these programs?

These are the first questions we will be asking you!
